This proves that people in the media don't know what the hell they are talking about when it comes to discussing how guns function. If the media wants to discuss types of weapons, especially semi-automatics, make sure they have people who understands fully how the gun they intend to discuss actually functions. This is dangerous to have a discussion if they are that ignorant to what is being discussed. I have also detected many posters on this forum who are just as clueless as to how a semi-automatic gun works. As I said in another thread, it's truly astonishing that we let people dictate our gun laws to us when most have never even fired a gun.

This at the least shows how incompetent and ignorant people in the media are. If you've made it that far in your career and paid that much that you are on a national TV show, you should know how something as simple as a semi automatic weapon works. I mean didn't someone tell him that they would be discussing the issue? Wasn't he curious to learn more about them considering they are "so dangerous?"
Sad thing is Bob is from Ft Worth TX like me. They teach this crap in the 3rd grade and he should know better.
Maybe he does know better.
