As Ovacatto so eloquently put it the other day (and I'm paraphrasing big time), perhaps if corporations would spend more time paying living wages as opposed to spending billions fighting every little thing, the populace wouldn't be so apt to vote for what you perceive as "tax and spend" types of politicians.

"Corporations" don't force anyone to work for sub-par wages. This ain't North Korea!
Besides, liberals want the "fat cat" corporations to turn over their profits to the government so how could they pay their workers more?
Oh yeah...borrow it all like our democratic "leaders" do.
We all favor spending cuts until we find how they affect us. For example farm subsidies, "Who cares, I am not a farmer." But the price of milk could double.
But only if the government makes massive cuts in spending to go along with that.
