Actually JFK was somewhat of a gun-nut himself and was an NRA life member. He took personal interest in the switchover from the M14 rifle to the M16 in (IIRC) 1963. Lee Harvey Oswald shot him with a rifle that had been purchased via mail order, so we banned gun sales via mail order with the Gun Control Act of 1968. Say, that was really effective at preventing further gun violence, wasn't it?

Was going to put the list here but turns out to be pretty long.

Same... another long list.
Michael Moore owns guns, so I doubt he is a gun hater, but whatever.

If refrigerators were responsible for 12000 deaths per year you can bet legislation would be enacted to attempt to curb that number..

So we should never enact any law unless it's guaranteed to be 100% effective, and we can determine all the crimes it prevents?

Half of em are Black on Black gangsters and the other half are nutters on SSRI's...

How about we legalize drugs and empty the prisons then fill em back up with the gangsters???

How about we address these drugs they hand out like candy for made up disorders with black label warnings right on the bottle that say they may drive you nuts???

Nahh that might actually help solve the problem

Much better to blame guns and try to limit freedom.... We need to start calling you "liberals" Authoritarians...

With the exception of a few, seems mostly like nonpartisan organizations of intelligent people to me.
