Well, Mr. Draper, does Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce know that you might not wish to develop, say, a new marketing campaign to push soda on small children?
Per the article, soda is not necessarily a cause that leads to depression. There are a lot of variables.

The researchers acknowledge the study does not prove a cause and effect. In other words, it could be that people who are depressed tend to drink more soda.
Some states have laws banning soda in schools, although other sugary drinks are also available.
I don't give my kids soda. They drink lemonade, sweet tea or water or juice. I don't even drink soda pretty much because my body can't handle the sugar and carbonation since my weight loss surgery.
I only drink soda that has all natural ingredients. Hansen's, Sierra Mist, etc.
The popular mainstream sodas have been linked to all types of health problems, including obesity, diabetes, heart problems, even cancer in lab rats. The diet stuff is especially bad for your health. So I'm not surprised these drinks can also cause depression. Common sense. When you put a lot of crap in your body it will make you feel bad.
These drinks are filled with chemicals, preservatives and all kinds of crap you can't even pronounce. My rule of thumb is, if you can't pronounce the ingredients on the labels and you don't know what the hell they are then don't drink it!
Haven't had it 7 years. Never crave it. That stuff is toxic and there are only negatives to drinking it. If I had kids, they wouldn't have it either while under my direct supervision.
Thread isn't about adults or gmo's. You said you were willing to give your kids soda, yet you have no kids.
For the record, I'm willing to take more risks with my safety and health, than I am with my kids, maybe I shouldn't but that's my gut reaction.
Yet I'd happily give them soda should they exist. What's the problem here?
