I have called my Senators to tell them that we do not want him and they should stop his appointment from happening. His actions in 1971 convinced most of us that he has no business in a job like Secretary of State. Is there anybody here who wants him for any reason other than politics?

The John Kerry Wall of Shame - YouTube
John Kerry called our troops barbarians and by being a communist sympathizer, John Kerry gave power to our communist enemies and extended the war .

OUr brave men who returned from their duties over from Vietnam were never given a welcome home when they arrived in America. All because John Kerry and his words of discouragement to our brave soldiers. They were shunned and the college kids who were exempt from the draft were just as anti-american as John Kerry. The communist were radical in the 60's as well as today.

The communists will always get the support of the democrats like John Kerry and many more.

Which means Mitt Romney would be at the top of the list of anti-Americans.

I think Kerry's 2002 actions - voting in favor of the Iraq war resolution - are a lot more concerning than something which happened over forty years ago, when he was still in his twenties.

Meh, at least come up with some new atrocity that Kerry supposedly committed. This harping on the same old same old shows a lack of imagination and is boring.

Rush must have had an off day today.

I am fine with Kerry being picked, though he can be a bit long winded at times.

I have never viewed John Kerry as a gifted negotiator, he is an egotistical man, who talks at people, not to them. Admittedly, he ran for president, but that does not make him a leader of men, hell, even the democrats know that, which is why he was never made Speaker Of The House, much less leader of the US senate. BTW, you do not need to be a member of the House of Rep. to be speaker.

Kerry has never been a leader, never been a spokesman, so why make him Sec of State?

Either way, it really does not matter who the Sec of State will be, since the idiot 0bama will be calling the shots.

In 1971, Hillary Clinton was working with avowed Communist attorney Robert Treuhaft.

You'd be hard-pressed to argue that disagreeing with a war that most Americans wanted to end by 1971, and which was already being wound down in 1971, is more of a disqualification than that.

You are, of course, talking about when he voted or it before he voted against it. Of course, his part in the Winter Soldier meetings was at least as bad. I really like what he said about what caused college kids to get to Iraq and especially what those soldiers really got even with him.
