Do you really think those of the third world are "savages" or "uncivilized" or "base humans" or "morally corrupt" or "unsavable" or "ungodly" or "backward" or "unintelligent" or "poor" or "diseased" or "uneducated" or "dirty" or whatever else? That's the type of language I commonly hear when the third world is referenced at least...
So, if you had the opportunity to tell a person of the third world something through a medium that guarantees your anonymity should you be offensive, what would you say?
I guess, in essence, I'm asking to gauge the mentality of the first world towards the third. Many of the stereotypes of the third world are a bit out of date, I'd assume, just judging by current reality...I'm wondering if first world thinking has caught up with the changing reality?
Or whether in the mind of the average first worlder things have yet to change and the old stereotypes still hold true?
I guess more the second than the first if the responses so far are representative of a larger truth.
^ Depends on whether people have been to the third world. Russia gets criticized, but it's not that bad. S. American countries aren't that bad either. Africa is, well parts of it anyway.
Thing is, we can look to the third world and see the effect of policy failures and can point out why those policies are not ideal.
The south isn't going to rise again, nor are you going to succeed, grow up.
