Well, any honest COPs will tell you they can't protect you. It's not their job to be your personal security guard 24/7/365.

Maybe I should put some of my co-workers on the phone for the readers.....

Exactly...when seconds matter, they're only minutes away

I'm just tired of hearing compromise on this issue, as if we should feel fortunate for the scraps we get from the table. This administration has no concept of compromise, and will see it as a weakness to exploit.

Not really, no.

I still don't know what you were trying to tell me in your previous response to my post.

Did any of you actually read the link?

It says Biden briefed some Democrats on what the task force had produced, and Rep. Bobby Scott said “It was all focusing on enforcing existing law, administering things like improving the background database, things like that that do not involve a change in the law but enforcing and making sure that the present law is administered as well as possible"

None of CT's restrictions did anything to stop it. Better security could stop a crazed killer, a piece of paper will not.

I hope you liberals are happy. Giving away rights and freedoms that millions of men have died for in this nation. You are an emotion driven, mentally sick people.
Yes, Adam Lanza's mother was sick, and it got her killed. She had all those guns to protect herself, she was in my estimation one of those gun loving conservatives who was readying herself and her mentally unstable sonny boy for judgement day.

Are liberals happy about 26 people dead because of guns? heck NO, we are NOT HAPPY, I don't know where you come up with the garbage you post.

What's a "standard capacity magazine" and more important, who set that "standard"? Glad I don't live in Kalifornia as that's the "standard" the libs are dreaming of.

I like at least 17 rounds in my handguns and 25 or more in my long guns. Glad I stocked up!

No registration for me and when they knock on the door, it'll be "What guns, officer? I sold them in the parking lot at WalMart, for cash..." Burden of proof and all that to show I didn't.

If you don't think the President has a right to decide on these 19 items, sue.

But dont tell me that innocent people have to die because fanatic gun nuts, who think a gun is an extension of their penises, don't want to accept reasonable regulation of firearms. No American soldier fought and died to not improve the background check database -- one of those 19 items.

Can you indicate what those 19 actions are?

The false premise is that children die because of the Second Amendment, when in fact, the Second Amendment if it had been implemented in Sandy Hook (i.e. people in authority charged with the care of the children were not prevented from having a gun available, and trained in it's use).

Guns are not the problem. Crazy people who would do harm, are. "Gun free zones" invite masacres such as Sandy Hook. Let's remember that the crime was committed in a "gun free zone" by a person with a gun. The cause of the tragic loss of life was the fact that it was a "gun free zone." No one was able to stop the shooter, because only the shooter was armed! He could fire at will with no one to shoot back at him.

When will this reality ever sink in?
