Fair question. If they are adults and are not being treated NOW, why would what they were prescribed as children matter? It does perhaps offer a reason for parents to well...parent, rather than simply drugging their kids.

The point is when or HOW do you get your name off the no-gun list if no longer being treated for anything? Felons lose their rights forever.
NRA is against what some of you were saying here and rightfully so.
Without due process of the law, how can we determine someone is mentally ill? How about this, I think you are nuts, so you lose all your rights just because I think so?
NRA has been urging states to add those people who have already been determined mentally ill through the due process of the law but lack of funding has staled that process.
So since they want to keep people who are supposedly mentally unstable from owning guns, are they going to keep alcoholics from buying cars?
