Then why the great call for "registration"? How is knowing where I live going to make anyone safer? Unless of course, you plan to stop by and pick up a few things.
Probably because polling consistently shows that 70 percent or more of Americans want a registration.
When the Government fears the people, there is peace. But when the people fear the Government, well, the United States happens. The people are no match for domestic or foreign threats once they have been disarmed and the people of the United States are rapidly walking towards that scenario.
You only need to look back at history to see how the above is factual.

The real question you gun fondlers need to ask is, "How are we contributing to the growing atmosphere of hostility towards gun ownership?"
Unfortunately, you won't do that, you'll just grow more absurd. I don't know what will be next. Arming high school students? Mandatory gun ownership? It's hard to say, but it's bound to be something that normal people will find bizarre and stupid and will turn more people against gun ownership.
