Wrong Wrong Wrong.

If a mom, is a single mom, because she was married and had children, THEN needs help, Or was already working, and lost their job due to no fault of their own, Sure, let's help. Help them learn a trade, help them get a job, help them receive child support from the DNA verified father, help them with support for a short time, let's say up to 6 months.

If a mom is a single mom, because she CHOSE to be irresponsible, we should help identify the correct father for the child or children, and then between the parents, they provide their own living. I am amenable to providing medical/dental, and ensuring the children are fed with healthy, wholesome food.

It should appear that the above poster is telling us that the core of Democrats is "Lack of responsibility, do what you want because we will force some other responsible person to pay your way".
Lol many conservatives are insane. I wrote none of the things he wrote.

Once again for conservatives their venom and anger is directed at out groups like poor single moms.

To conservatives nothing pisses them off more than the idea that American society has decided that single moms and their children shouldn't starve and be homeless.

Sure they claim they have no problem helping those in need, then the question is if that's true then what are they so angry and self righteous about?

Our system is doing the very thing they say they have no problem with, yet they are still pissed off and angry at single moms.

The anger and self righteous judgement that conservatives train on single moms or poor people getting meager benefits reveals who conservatives see as their enemy and who conservatives hate.

Thanks Darkatt for illustrating conservative anger and hatred directed at single moms once again.

Dang those pesky seniors and disabled folk, eh.

Should the wealthiest nation put them into the streets and expect charity to toss them an occasional can of cat food?

Your source contradicts itself, repeatedly. It claims the top 1% of households "have" 35% of stock equities and almost twice that percentage of financial securities and business equities, but then claims that the top 1% owns only "35.4% of all privately held wealth." AND your source mixes its use of the words "owns" and "controls" which mean two very different things.

And that's the tax code, aka loopholes. Many years, Exxon Mobile has managed to not pay a dime in federal taxes. The tax code, as written, favors large corporations, ultra wealthy and the poor.

That is what the Cons like to call being "pro-business."

88 million people unemployed/not in workforce statistics

34 million on social security with 4 million added in last half of 2012

50 million on food stamps

Conclusion? We are running out of people to pay for it

We all know plenty of people with many kids who get refunds. What we usually don't know is their income or withholding or value of deductions.

I am always open to learning something new about the tax code. Thus far, no one has been able to demonstrate how anyone with no income and dependents manages to get a refund windfall. Instead, it's been hearsay.

Those are the only people receiving welfare? Since when?

Seniors are only 13% of the population, and only 8.9% of them are at or below the poverty level for a total of 1.16% of the U.S. population. And according to the 2010 Census, 10% of the population is disabled though that includes a lot of SSDI fraud.

lets just all apply for welfare. they dont really do a background. just open a bank account, put 50 bucks in there, tell they that is all you have. you will get welfare fast. dont feel bad about it either, it is just you getting your own money back. you can also apply for free lunch at your kid's school. dont feel bad about that either, for some reason you already paid for that with tax dollars, and now they want you to pay again if you make too much. apply for all the freebees you can. dont be proud, use that welfare card to buy those expensive steaks you cant really afford. go get yours, the world at your finger tips....
