How about this?

there are various derogatory terms thrown around for this one; champagne socialist, limousine liberal etc..

but how about in the real world

How about Michael Moore, celebs, sports stars etc.

and what about someone who was originally a socialist but then came into a lot of money from work, luck, business etc..?

Can it work?

but seriously, can we really call Barack a Socialist?

I'm thinking further to the left of the political spectrum here.

how about the Socialist Party USA?

would a millionaire socialist actually vote for a party that went against their interests big time?

say the party advocated a 70% income tax - would they still support the party then?

Sure, why not? If they're already sitting on a nice pile of cash high taxes on all will just make them comparatively richer.

Fail. If you think Obama is a socialist, you don't understand basic definitions of political terms.

looks like an interesting read, but not possible for me to send off for the whole book.

do you have any text extracts?

Cavaturacioli: I'm talking about 70% tax on the levels above a certain amount.

so most people would be unaffected.

and how about a mansion tax?
would the socialists still vote then
