I see, my follower.
Exactly what is happening in Mexico. Mexican communities tired of being extorted are forming defense squads armed with relic handguns and single shot shotguns for the most part. IF the drug gangs retaliate they will come in with AK's and other automatic modern weapons.

Many parts of Arizona's original law violated 4th amendment, the courts have ruled.

This gentleman has the right idea. If any city needs better gun laws, it is that gang infested dump Chicago

No, that's due to the illegality of drugs in the united states. Much like gangsters in our country during prohibition, money is made, its illegal money, invites violence. The Mexican drug war problem will go away if we legalize or decriminalize drugs here

I do believe we should rethink our current war on drugs but as the article says the gangs are also terrorizing locals through extortion and "protection fees". These are people who barely make anything and are forced to pay fees to the gangs.

Correct

And that is one of the 2 big reasons to legalize drugs. 1) Cut down on the huge gang problem in America and Mexico and the other one 2) To get massive tax revenue to pay down debt without having to raise taxes

It's certainly true that some of this came out of Republican quarters, but also it was generally embraced by Democrats too. What did Obama-Reid-Pelosi do to restore the 4th from 2008-2010 when they had full control? Answer: zip, zero, nada.
You said it, back then Obama, Reid, Pelosi, when they did have full control! was zip, nero, nada, nothing.
