Link: Trio wrongfully convicted of murder released after 18 years in prison - U.S. News

There is something wrong absolutely wrong with the US Justice system. Am just mad mad mad that there are no sufficient checks and balances that would stop sending innocent people to 18 years or more in Prison.

WTF would you do if you have to spend rest of your life behind bars for crime you didn't commit?

Were they lawyers, cops, judges dishonest when these people were convicted? Who dropped the ball??

This is an example of why we need to end the death penalty

....and there are idiots on C-D insisting that its ok to talk to the cops without a lawyer because as long as you're cooperative, they'd NEVER eff you over.

I agree with you. The justice system in this country has gone down the toilet. Law enforcement is the enemy of the citizen. And they're gearing up for war!
