Recess appointments are legal. Barack made his appointment when the Senate was not in recess. He abused his power. That is a "high crime and misdemeanor". I will be sending a letter to Congressman to file impeachment charges on Monday.

It'll be fun to see what the Supreme Court has to say.

When you swear an oath to uphold the Constitution and then blatantly abuse the powers granted to you by it. THAT planet.

Barack was specifically told that what he was doing was illegal but decided to roll the dice in the courts. He lost! Time to step down for the good of the country.

Barack is dangerous for the republic. He needs to be removed.

The impact of the ruling if the Supreme Court upholds it, has nothing to do with people's idiotic hatred of Obama or Bush. It's impact would be on the NLRB actions since and potentially on the Consumer Protection rules that have be implemented. You may want to look into what those actions are and whether you think their cancellation is good or bad.

Great - 2 wrongs make a right.

Did anyone make a case where it went to court when Bush did it?

I think we hold these truths to be self evident that the Supreme Court is gonna look at this case, and say to each other, "So, where were you guys thinking of going to eat lunch at today?"......heck, Justice Thomas might even comment about how much "bull excrement this is, and how it's just more crazy talk coming from the tightie righties".

Perhaps you should actually read the decision before you start wringing your hands regarding any failure to uphold the Constitution. Specifically where the court stated that “Recent presidents are doing no more than interpreting the Constitution. While we recognize that all branches of government must of necessity exercise their understanding of the Constitution in order to perform their duties faithfully thereto, ultimately it is our role to discern the authoritative meaning of the supreme law.”

Those two sentences take the President completely off the hook for any claim that he failed to uphold the Constitution.

The actual court does not appear to agree.
