I would think this would be a good idea in certain instances depending on the crimes. This could be a great deterrent against black on white crimes depending on the severity of crime.

As someone who was born and raised in Montana, we sure do breed some crazies!

I can see some people who get convicted choosing corporal punishment over being locked up.

Like this is going to work at all. So they endure some pain for a little while, big whoop. Like that's going to prevent them from committing a felony again? Don't think so.

The Constitution forbids "cruel and unusual punishment."
