Yes, an expert says this is true. He makes mention of the fact that the second plume of smoke is caused by a "vent" hole that makes the kick lighter since he holds the gun so loosely he needs something like that. This picture was obviously an attempt at proving that he does what he obviously doesn't do.
This one surely wasn't going over about 50 mph. It failed to get to the plate and the catcher had to dig it out of the dirt. I can show you another one that if it had been going any more than 50 would have still have been going up when it got to the catcher. I've encountered a lot of internet millionaires, internet badasses, and others claiming various dubious accomplishments to bolster their arguments. To have one claim to be an Expert Rifleman is no big deal,...he's probably another Chuck Connors clone.
Do you have any certificates or anything that awards you as an Expert Rifleman? Are you willing to post your real name in any of your posts, or in your profile, so that your honesty can be tested? It makes a big difference when we all know who you really are, don't you think?

This is a really stupid argument. America is a very silly country. We've got troops dying overseas, kids getting shot in schools, a terrible economy, huge debt, shrinking middle class, etc, etc yet THIS is what we argue about.
How many of your problem areas aren't either being caused directly by the man being discussed or, at least, being augmented by him?
Considering that every President stages photos for political gain, you'd think his staff could have at least had someone familiar with firearms show him how to hold the thing properly against his shoulder (not inches too high). I'm no expert, but that's so obvious it even jumped out at me. And what is he shooting at? If a target, he ended up with a nice clean undamaged target to take home at the end of the day, along with a bruised shoulder. But obviously not skeet, which travel a little higher than 3' above the ground.
The photo op with Obama and the shotgun makes me laugh. I lay odds the man has never been hunting, or for that matter spent any serious amount of time with a firearm.
Obama would look more comfortable if he were firing the shotgun while riding sidesaddle on a Shetland pony.
