You don't have a "natural" right to own a gun. Bearing arms may be enshrined in the Constitution, but being allowed to own any old weapon you please is not. Even the most conservative Supreme Court justice, Antonin Scalia, says so. Read
Heller if you don't believe me.
Heller even says restrictions such as not allowing guns in certain places, and restrictions on where guns can be carried concealed are all perfectly reasonable rules gun owners may be required to abide by.
You
are about to get more stringent guidelines on your gun ownership. If
you don't like it, there are plenty of uninhabited islands you can start your own country on. This one expects you to take some responsibility to the rest of us in society.
