There's more than one contributor. If there was only one catalyst, the problem would've been ascertained years ago, and this crisis would've happened. When I said it's a very symbiotic process, I meant the whole system is flawed and all these aspects are interconnected.
The problem was pointed out long before it grew even larger and burst. We were told that there was no problem and the foundation was solid.
We had hearings on it. We had proposals to address the problem. We decided to ride it out.

No, it's because even recording artist "Chapter" recognizes the problem. Here are some direct quotes from her: "This is where the taxpayer money goes."And, "It's free! Swipe your EBT."
Oh, and another exact quote... "All you gotta do is f*ck, and 9 months later you're getting the big bucks."

2) The birth rate of those receiving public assistance is 3 times higher than everyone else's.

There was no simple solution to the problem, either. We grew complacent the entire time because we thought we were indestructible. Hindsight is always 20/20. The most we can do at the end of the day is learn from our mistakes and make sure we don't go back and repeat the same ones.
Rarely are solutions simple. That isn't a reason to ignore them. (we are repeating them)

Plus some liberals would have us believe that it is purely coincidence that the groups with the highest illegitimate birth rates are also the groups with the highest incidence of being on welfare. The fact that married women don't get welfare as easily as single women has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that these women, both white and black alike, don't marry the fathers of their children. Just coincidence. Nope, they aren't gaming the system. They're just helpless victims.

Benefits aren't paid to the child, they're paid to the parent (usually the mother). Little kids don't get EBT cards, their parent does.

Access? They get contraceptives for free via Medicaid, the schools, county health clinics, etc. They have more access than anyone else.
