Like it or not al-Qaeda has declared itself an enemy of the US, was responsible for 9/11, and its members should be hunted down and eliminated like the vermin they are, despite the self-Righteous bleeding hearts who suddenly feign outrage over deaths incurred during pursuit of an enemy..

Which is it?
If those peace loving liberals approve the use of drones then I guess it's OK - carry on Barry. The hell with the fact that globally there is disapproval for the US using drones - except for Japan and India - and India would be quite happy to see the US use drones against their enemy on a daily basis.
Read again, I never said I disapproved of hunting down enemies of the US, I said the hypocrites are those who showed no concern for the deaths of innocents while we invaded/occupied a country that did nothing to us yet now feign outrage if innocents are killed in pursuit of those responsible for attacking us.
I have a brother who works with the defense dept on a regular basis. He can't say much but he did say that the next generation of military drones will essentially make soldier obsolete in many instances.
For me that is a scary thought, to take all honor and humanity out of killing other people. Are we the good guys or are we becoming the terrors of the world?
Myself, I think it's time to hand off the military police job to another countries or countries. I don't want 15 countries attacking us at once to disarm us because of what we have become.
Handover to Iraq - failure. Violence and political unrest continues.
Handover to Afghanistan - major failure.
116 NATO troops have been killed because of blue on green attacks in Afghanistan since 2007. Insurgents infiltrating the police and military.
51 of those deaths were in 2012 as the troops expand "training" Afghanis in preparation for the 2014 withdrawal.

Once again you are delibrately missrepresenting the facts. You said that the majority killed were civilians when both your links show that the majority were militants. Get your facts straight.

There is a very good possibility that 9/11 could have been avoided if the Bush admiinistration followed the leads and connected the dots. There was plenty of evidence to tap into.
So American citizens who deal with our enemy should be left alone?
