No crime and i don't have to do squat more about it....

Had he searched my person he would have found one weapon there were more in side my locked vehicle, that day is was my conversion van with dark windows and curtains. Good luck seeing thru that.

AND had he searched me I would have had a talk with the chief. I may have hired my attorney and busted said eager cop. I can play and i can pay How about you?

Some years back in Mass I was pulled over for no reason what so ever. I was just pulling out a a mom and pop greasy spoon at Rt and I-91 with a [pick up and a horse in trailer. I was still wearing buck skins too.

The truck wasn't even straight since i was turning left back on to Rt 2 to go a few hundred feet to get back on the I-91.

That cops was a friggin mad man. I should have shot him with his own glock but i didn't.
he invaded my personal space and made an illegal search with out even asking. He was after my .62 cal flintlock pistol. Such a MORON.
he left me un-attended behind him fiddling with my property that pistol, and tinkering with other items. He almost broke my pistol trying to open it, which it does not do.

After 45 minutes of wasting my time, and his and the monies spent by Mass tax payers i told him You either arrest me right now or you friggin let me go, Right NOW one or the other and IF you arrest me I will OWN that Badge.

You will pay SPCA for the horse's stay you will pay the tow, and you WILL LOSE that Badge nd it WILL be MINE.

He got that message LOUD and clear... He didn't like it much.

I can PAY a lawyer you know.... I would love to be false arrested for nothing... Bring it on.... I could use a couple million bucks of tax paid monies myself... to buy more guns.

Sorry, if you want to act like a peasant and subservient to a higher class, by all means, but don't expect me to.

Yep that's the way I go with em. Heck I have a couple semi friends one who's a sheriff and one a local pig. Good enough guys but I hear their stories when we're out shooting pool or what have you once in a while. They got a reason state it and no I'm not gonna thank you for handing me a ticket for going 30 ina 25.

So, i ask again, was this woman trespassing?

Doesn't appear to be in the video, he didn't state such clearly, though it was hard to hear some of the audio. I would have to say based on his actions, there was no really clear action on his part to denote a violation, more of a typical officer based interrogation that knows they have no legitimate means to question and rely's on intimidation (ie they believe the suspect doesn't know about detainment laws, they don't know about PC, they don't know about search laws, etc...) I have seen many a police officer use the ignorance of the people to obtain information, items, guilt, etc...

Not saying that is what he did as we obviously do not know all the details of the encounter, but based on the fact that she asked him why she was being questioned and he vaguely referred to something going on in the area, well... it all depends. Did he use that as an excuse? We will never know as the "truth" of these issues don't come out unless you hit the legal system.

Having been around law enforcement, I can tell you it really depends. There are lots of civil violations that go on daily by police officers simply because they can, and because most people will not report them. /shrug

What was the harm here? He asked her a few questions, then left. Big deal.

I got jacked up in a NY State road block a dragnet i guess. Everyone was stopped and questioned.

The cops asked for my regii and lic, which I handed over and then asked to search my truck

I said NO you can see just fine thru the glass. it is a 1984 chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 with no cap on the bed at the time. No bodys would fit behind the seat...

Then he says are do you know where you are? My reply was 'As a matter of fact I am lost. I was too somewhere between 2 dinkweed southern tier towns and i had never been there before.

(Not so much lost as i just didn't know where I was..... )

Cops have no business in my personal things or my space. Not unless they want me in theirs.. That's happened a few times too and it never works out very well for either of us...

I have a way of making a cop face to face, look like a fool and it would be embarrassing to tell the judge

A little secret I use when I have attracted unwanted attention from cops is to imagine them seated on the throne in their own stench. That takes any notion of how big and mighty they might be right out of my mind..

You get worked over by the system enough and you learn how to deal with it. I have played with plenty of ink pads for getting finger printed and what ever the books are they leave when you are going to be interrogated.

Getting arrested doesn't bother me a bit. Getting convicted would.

I don't think so. It was a desert setting Southern Cal, and there was a highway in the distance. The video was shot by the woman who caused the landing, for simply being there.
She seems to have a male escort who was waiting at a newer olive drag jeep, that funny earthy green jeep is using, not a home brew paint job. The guy was older. late 60's maybe and she never appears so thar's no tellin'

Me, I am conservative and I don't like COPS. They made it that way not me.

COPS are nothing very special until you go and say so. Then they come out BSin around as if they do something important enough to get paid.... They don't really.

What they do is support the state and the system which is ALL BS.

You can make then have a bad hair day easy with one of these

THE PUBLIC SERVANT QUESTIONNAIRE

One day in front of 11 NH State Troopers I placed this red and blue dress against the 12th trooper's chest as if he were a woman holding the dress to see if it might fit.

I knew I was going to make an enemy but i didn't really care. The other 11 laughed like Hell.... 1 Enemy made, so what?

On what grounds? Any officer that would escalate the incident as you suggest is an idiot and honestly, deserves the full ramifications of such a stupid action.

In my old home town, we had a few incidents from idiot officers. One decided to harass an Asian in a beat up pickup hauling grass clippings. He had no PC for the stop, was racist during the questioning, and tried to intimidate the suspect. What the officer got was a meeting with his Chief, himself and one of the judges in our town (ie he was the Asian).

I went to POST with over a 100 of these guys. I would say that near 1/3 of them weren't fit for this sort of work. They could shoot well, could handle physical altercations well, knew the laws, etc... but they were social morons and too enamored with themselves for the job. That is, they had ulterior motives to being a police officer and it had nothing to do with law and order.
