I'm basically libertarian and at least not knee-jerk anti-gun. But I wouldn't walk across the street to **** on Ted Nugent. Not that I would need to, as he's very adept at soiling himself.

He'd probably laugh at her and tell her she should have been armed, either that or she forgot to duck. That's the type of JA he is.

Wrong. He was classified 1-5 (High School Deferment) in 1967 and 2-5 (College Deferment) in 1968. Then after being classified as 1-A (available for military service) in 1969, he was rejected because he failed his physical and was given a 1-Y classification (meaning he had physical medical limitations but not disabling during a national emergency or wartime resulting in demoting him). After the 1-Y classification was eliminated at the end of 1971, he was reclassified 4-F. What does this mean? It means Ted didn't dodge the draft at all even though he had a deferment at the time he was eligible for the draft. He got on the bus like everyone else and went to go take his physical instead of heading to Canada to avoid combat. The military according to his selective service classification gave him a medical exemption due to a medical limitation. Most likely bad hearing for being in the 'Amboy Dukes'.

Are you positive it was physical and not mental?

conservatives continue to show their common sense solutions to the concerns of average Americans. Ted Nugent is just who the conservative party needs to be associated with right now.

Great job.

But he never went to college, and he said in his interview that they knew what they were doing to get him out of going to war.

He was a draft dodger, period.

did you miss the entire High Times interview where Ted, gleefully and in graphic detail, describes what he intentionally did to flunk his physical?

He won't be. Ted avoided conflict when he was a young buck and he'll avoid it again tonight. He's all talk and he knows who he can and can't mess with. He'll try to intimidate a geeky reporter but he won't try that with the President.

The High Times magazine 1977 interview has never been seen or published to this day confirming what Ted allegedly said. Never the less, he didn't run for the Canada border to avoid a physical. Ted went and took it. Crapping in your pants wouldn't rate a status of 1-Y.

He was also quoted in 1990 by the Detroit Free Press in an interview saying the exact same thing.
