you didn't say they shouldn't expect to be shot at - you said they should throw down their weapons.
Cops = soldiers.
No I didn't. I said you can't murder a soldier. Another poster replied with: they're just doing their job. To which I replied: then drop their weapons if they don't want to be shot at.

What happened with the two women etc are tragically stupid mistakes ...... but it's not like the cops did that on purpose.
On the other hand, there's no question that Dorner targeted individuals for murder, because that's what he said he would do in his manifesto.
People who excuse willful murder of innocents (simply because "the LAPD is corrupt" or "he had to clear his name") are contemptible. No one attacked Dorner with lethal force, and that is the only justification for killing someone.
a truck that was similar in description to what Dorner was driving, with tinted windows, and they couldn't see who was driving, but saw they were throwing things out of the window. I'm sure you can recognize a newspaper rolled up from 100 yards away or a dangerous weapon or bomb.
Trucks have license plates, and the newspaper lady's truck was equipped with a rear license plate with a printed number.
