Yes it is funny but when you have CNN folks debating whther this has ended a guys political career and folks running around howling about a drink of water and meanwhile our ambassador is dead in LIbya and nobody cares and our government is trying to ake away our rights and nobody cares something is amiss. This is how far gone our counry has become. Have you ever seen the movie Idiocracy? We are heading there by the day.

The dead ambassador is going to stay dead. Procedures will be changed to reduce future attacks.

But all those things can occur while Mr. Rubio's career flounders. But what he showed the nation was that he believes in the same tired talking points that big government spends too much, even though that big government educated him and provides Medicare for his mother.

And the opposite view has won many recent elections by promising people entitlements that the country cannot pay for.
It may be a tired talking point, but it's also indisputable fact.
I'd rather lose elections by telling the truth than win elections by making false promises that are going to inevitably end in misery for millions when the money runs out.
