And the housing crisis is far from over. The banks are not moving on the homes letting them stand for years without putting them into foreclosure or a short sale. I believe they are still swamped with homes on their books and can't move them.
In my Florida neigborhood, 5 homes bought that were in foreclosure and still in their homes, then there are 4 original families who kept their homes so far and paying their mortgage and eight homes waiting to go into forclosure. Some owners of these eight homes have not paid a mortgage payment since 2008 and still in the home. Some left and the houses are empty and the owner still on the deed.
Obama and his administration paint a good picture that is far from reality.
The dems always stick pork in a good bill and then complain the republicans rejected it ..not the good part but the pork in it.... the dems are sleazy operators.
Here is why progress has been slow! The GOP is more concerned about their good ole boy club than our country!

During a lengthy discussion, the senior GOP members worked out a plan to repeatedly block Obama over the coming four years to try to ensure he would not be re-elected.
In his book, Draper opens with the heady atmosphere in Washington on the days running up to the inauguration and the day itself, which attracted 1.8 million to the mall to witness Obama being sworn in as America's first black president.
Those numbers contributed to a growing sense of unease among Republicans as much the defeat in the White House race the previous November. The 15 Republicans were in a sombre mood as they gathered at the Caucus Room in Washington, an upscale restaurant where a New York strip steak costs $51.
Attending the dinner were House members Eric Cantor, Jeb Hensarling, Pete Hoekstra, Dan Lungren, Kevin McCarthy, Paul Ryan and Pete Sessions. From the Senate were Tom Coburn, Bob Corker, Jim DeMint, John Ensign and Jon Kyl. Others present were former House Speaker and future – and failed – presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and the Republican strategist Frank Luntz, who organised the dinner and sent out the invitations.
Unemployment is High by Republican Design as GOP Sabotaged Obama's Job Proposals
Quote:
Obama proposed a major jobs measure that would have created nearly two million jobs in an election year. Debate was blocked by filibuster. The jobs bill was broken down into small parts, some consisting only of tax cuts. Only one part, to help veterans find jobs, was passed (a tiny fraction of the overall jobs legislation). In total, Republicans blocked entirely (not even allowing debate on the floor, which would put them on record) 17 jobs measures.
And thank goodness for that! Here's my question for you, instead of just playing the blame game how about pointing to the solutions that've been implemented that have A. Worked as advertised B.Haven't spent money we don't have to benefit his buddies (aka supporters) C.Any legislation that actually included bipartisan conversations? Oh by the way, we already know one which is the looming sequestration that Obama himself brought into play so please let us know what others there are.
Thing is, the more crud this administration tosses out the more crazy it looks. Take the latest immigration proposal for example. Why would you propose something that you KNOW will never sit well with anyone but your lackeys and the group you're pandering to?
Both sides have a hand in where we are today, one side had total control for a couple of years and have been in power for several more and yet nothing's changed for the better. You can't blame Bush anymore, you can't lay blame totally at the feet of the GOP or anything else like storms, earthquakes or nuclear meltdowns so please cease trying as it makes you look disingenuous at best.
I saw no reason to read your liberal link because you obviously don't know that no matter what the GOP controlled House sends to the Democrat controlled Senate it won't be considered on the floor and never voted up or down.
