don't know, do you count the civil war as domestic gun violence or war? well considering you said since 1960 I guess that would not be counted as domestic so the answer is war has claimed more lives than all domestic gun violence since 1960.

Yeah the Federal government has a bit of a moral problem regarding gun legislation. I.e. it has no moral authority whatsoever.

war, the feds declared war on drugs, so anyone murdered or killed because of drugs automatically counts towards the war part of the poll. also holds true for terrorism, and instances such as waco or ruby ridge.
