Rand Paul to return Senate budget surplus to Treasury ? RT USA

I still won't vote for him if he runs for president but we shall see...I still like Napolitano and Ventura better...

There is not many in congress that have a surplus to return maybe a handful but I think it is a good example. It beats chirping about how dam conservative you are then spending the whole wad. I think this is another fresh idea :

Quote:
the Kentucky Senator plans to introduce new legislation this year that would provide federal employees with incentives to identify and eliminate wasteful programs in the agencies they work for,
He should include to offer them a one time bounty, make them bounty hunters against gvt waste. Like that phony McCain once said " lets make them famous" He should also include bounty hunting on gvt positions in depts that are not needed or no justification of them earning a pay check.

Like father, like son.
Taking another step forward in 2011, the Texas congressman and darling of the more libertarian, Tea Party wing of the Republican Party is continuing to walk the walk, returning a whopping $140,000 in unused office funds to the U.S. Treasury for the purpose of paying down the national debt. The sum is nearly 10% of his office funds and a 40% increase over the $100,000 he returned last year.

In 2009, Ron Paul returned $90,000 from his office budget, and in 2008, he returned $58,000.

Rand Paul 2016.

Jesse Jackson Jr. Should have taken a page from Rand's book.
