politicians are trying to replace and compete with a Hollywood idea of stardom...they want to become socially outstanding and greatly admired...someone could sketch out an idea for a movie where a country styles all by a computer program engineered for progress...vrs a country that goes through all these expensive personalities with a taste for caviar, on the peoples beer income.
I watched the entire episode because I'm a huge fan of the musical guest The Avett Brothers. The interviews with Michelle were hilarious. I never had an opinion of her one way or another before last night. I now think she's pretty cool.
Ummm....you have that backards. Republicans are the ones who want to be treated like gods.....worshiped and admired from afar.
And here you are proving it....chastising Michelle for socializing with "commoners".
Another good tip for the girls these days is considering cooking school...When our family started to produce the girls my father wasted no time in sending my mother to an official cooking school so the girls were good cooks...one of the most effective pathways to catching that special someone is by their stomach... top notch culinary and clothes making skills is very handy

She sure would not have been very cool if there were any substance. Imagine if she were asked about the consequences of $20 trillion national debt or why black women are facing rising unemployment rates under this administration.
She's up on stage dancing her little heart away while this nation tanks. She's oh-so impressed by her bangs, but not one question on the problems of this country. Maybe Honey Boo-Boo can be the first woman president someday, her show is is popular as the Obama show.
The point I was making was towards the lifestyle, not the mode of transportation.
You want to talk lifestyle when you put up guys like Romney, a guy with more that a half dozen homes instead of just one like the Obama's?
Talk about being out of touch with the American people.
And, just where is it written that our leaders have to be one-dimensional stick in the muds?
Just because you have an important job.....doesn't mean you have to be serious 100% of the time.....24/7....every minute of every day. Good grief. That's not even healthy.
We need multi dimensional, flexible, well rounded leaders who do not distance themselves from the people they serve....not the opposite.
