Trump was doing this at a time when his reality tv series was about the start. Since many people have pretty much given up on watching the series, it was nothing more than a stunt to try and get viewers to watch his flailing tv series.

No it's not a lie and you are desperately trying to obfuscate by referring to pro Obama blogs from 2008 when the birth certificate in question was released in 2011. By the way, in your first link, about 98% of the comments didn't believe the article. The best solution is that the ORIGINAL DOCUMENT can be easily subjected to unbiased examination by experts in the field of ink and paper authentication for that era - yes, there are entire careers devoted to those subjects about document verification. The chemical compositions of the ink and paper can be dated and attributed to a specific manufacturer and era. Obama needs to release his original 50 year old vital vault birth record to clear the matter up.

Anyone in an office with a commercial copy/fax/printer can scan straight to PDF (like how the staff of the White House did).
Open resulting PDF in Illustrator. Voila. Clipping masks in layers within the document. As has been explained to you, Steve, numerous times, that is the way Illustrator works. It has to interpret what it thinks are elements within the scanned document and translates into items it can understand. It's also "smart" enough to discern text from a background and uses a process to render these as their own layer. The process isn't 100% perfect which is why some text remain on the original image layer.
I've been working with PDF documents (scanning and CREATING them from scratch, through Quark Express, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) for nearly 20 years. And I tested the exact process with my own Hawaii COLB when the first claims of "layers" appeared on the net 4 years ago. The birther claim is absolute crap.

As long as the agency that is tasked by LAW to archive birth records says its 100% real and acurate, and they have the record in their possession, their word is 100% evidence . Full Faith and Credit clause, something YOU have yet to read and understand.
