I wonder if Christie wasn't invited, or he refused to attend to stay as far away from the sinking ship as possible

The list of speakers for the March confab currently includes the party’s failed 2012 nominee, Mitt Romney, as well as former VP hopeful Sarah Palin and a string of current officials and 2016 hopefuls like Sen. Marco Rubio.

I guess Christie praising the President on the response after superstorm Sandy, and Rudy Giuliani's pro choice stance doesn;t sit well with the Conservatives.

They like to hear from Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney. They tell the conservatives what they want to hear, not what they ought to hear.
I like the way a liberal thinks she knows who should speak at a conservative convention. lols.

Hey, when was the last time a Pro-life person was allowed to speak at a high profile event for Democrats? And actually say they were pro-life? I'm thinking maybe 1968 or so??? I guess looking out for the innocent and poor doesn't sit well with the Progressives.

They like to hear from Al Sharpton and Chris Mathews. They tell liberals what they want to hear and how to think, not what they ought to hear.

Lets all hope that Palin does not win the CPAC straw poll and gets ambition to run in 2016.

They like Giuliani when it comes time for the elections, other than that, it's seeya. And Christie is not afraid of calling out his own party's stupidity. Good for him. that takes courage.

And, last time I checked the bvds, I'm a male. (Wait, let me check again...yep the twig and berries are still there).

America fragmented:
Libertarians.
Democrats.
Independents.
Republicans.
Tea Party.

Can someone name some more?

Well, a tea party member could be a libertarian, a dem, repub, or independent. And independent can vote either dem, repub, or liberarian. And depending on the issue, a libertarian can have stances from both parties. Considering the Republicans are suddenly pushing for gay marriage, amnesty for illegals and legalization of drugs, I really can't see the difference anymore.

I think Guliani has more than 9/11. I don't know but it's not too far from my mind how much the city changed for the better under his leadership.

It has gone down since he left, not as far as it was under Dinkins but still not as good as Guiliani.

Wow. Pathetic.
Possibly Christie gave the Republicans an earful about delaying the Hurricane Sandy Relief? Maybe the delay in relief was the first messsage from the republicans of their displeasure with Christie for giving Obama credit for acting quickly. Nothing like shutting out the one possible hope they have to get back in the game.

Christie could give them tips on HOW to win seeing as he was voted Govenor in a dem state.

Guiliani - his day has come and gone.
