I don't like public displays of affection (of course there is a difference between a peck on the lips and making out) but unless the mall also asks straight couples who kiss to leave, this is wrong.

You are acting as though there is no difference between heterosexual and homosexual couples. Let me explain this basic truth to you: Heterosexual couples (male/female) were intended to be with each other. Therefore, it is perfectly normal for a man and a woman to hold hands and kiss (as long as it doesn't enter the realm of inappropriate public displays of affection).
I do not hate or advocate harming homosexuals, but I simply do not want to be privy to them kissing, because two men holding hands and kissing and/or two women holding hands and kissing is abnormal behavior.
The media tries very hard to indoctrinate us to believe that it's ok and (in many instances) celebrates homosexuality, but it doesn't change the fact that it's wrong.
I think the mall owner was within his rights. However, how many of the right-wingers in this thread would be comfortable with the mall owner being allowed to throw out people praying publicly in his mall? Or what about throwing out anyone with pro-NRA t-shirts?

Mall Cop: "...and a I told you when I first walked up that we contact any couple, any couple"
Yet when the local news went to this mall and recorded for a few hours, they didn't see any of the dozens of straight couples holding hands and kissing asked to leave or even confronted by Mall security.

“If you continue to kiss, you will be asked to leave the mall. Period.” the voice on the recording says. “I counted you guys kissing 25 times. I told you before, we contact any couple...about this."
You forgot to mention that they were obviously creating a scene.
