Do you guys seriously think he could go into any gun dealership and purchase anything and it not be all over the English speaking world within 10 minutes?

Even if the clerk did not recognize him, when he signed his name do you think the lights came on?

Whoever owned that store would be on the phone to everybody they knew. No secrets here.

Why shouldn't he be able to do that?

Bill Maher is super anti-gun and owns one. He hopes to belong to the gov't inner circle where he can own them but "teabaggers" can't.

Leave it to the Republitards to worship Breitbart.com as the "holy grail" of news sources.

How about doing a little "common sense" thinking for yourselves?

Less than two months ago, the Giffords launched a PAC at aimed at curbing gun violence.

Gabrielle Giffords launches gun control lobby on shooting anniversary | News | National Post

Quote:
PHOENIX – Former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and her husband launched a political action committee aimed at curbing gun violence on Tuesday, the second anniversary of the Tucson shooting that killed six people and left her critically injured.
Giffords and Mark Kelly wrote in an op-ed published in USA Today that their Americans for Responsible Solutions initiative would help raise money to support greater gun control efforts.
“Achieving reforms to reduce gun violence and prevent mass shootings will mean matching gun lobbyists in their reach and resources,” they wrote in the column.
Do you think ANY gun purchase made by the Giffords would be for anything OTHER than to demonstrate the ease of purchasing guns here in the U.S.?

Try using your heads for a change!

Now Republicans on the other hand have a different use for AR15's.

They raffle them to raise campaign money:

Controversial gun giveaways a popular way to raise money in the U.S. | World | News | National Post

Quote:
Missouri state Rep. John McCaherty raised campaign funds last August by raffling off an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, a month after a similar gun was used in the Aurora, Colo. movie theater shooting that killed 12 people and wounded 58. McCaherty didn’t return calls seeking comment.
