Overseas tax savings for U.S. drugmakers under threat | 2013-03-11 | Indianapolis Business Journal | IBJ.com

Wouldn't it be nice if everyone paid their "fair" share. What is sad is these are just the big Pharms and what they are getting away with paying. Add the other Fortune 5's and other well to do corporations and you'll see the taxpayers are getting hosed.

What is especially egregious about this is that the pharmaceutical companies fought, and won, against the ability of our government to negotiate drug prices for Medicare part D!

Actions such as this are unpatriotic and destructive to our nation's economy.

Interesting that you see 'big Pharma" soley as a profiteer generating nothing but money and doing it in an 'unfair' manner.

Guess you or your family never used life saving drugs. Bet you don't know anyone whose doesn't have their retirement and savings tied up in pharma stocks.

What financial laws has big pharma broken? NONE!

Ethical and moral concern raised as nothing illegal has taken place, and yet you support the unethical liar whose campaign uses class warfare and baits the ignorant minions with calls of 'fair share".

Business like all matter on eath seeks equlibrium and goes where there is the least resistence.

Big pharma has paid more than their fair financially and ethically.

Big pharma only cares about one thing: profit.

I work in the medical industry and we have had huge problems with shortages of very necessary drugs that no longer churn an obscene profit for drug companies. Latest: look up Atropine shortage.

Medicare, insurers and people pay substantially more for medications in the U.S. than governments, insurers and people pay in the rest of the developed world.

Big pharm owns Congress, regardless of which party has the majority.

Large corporations whine about the obscene corporate tax rates in the U.S. They fail to mention that their effective tax rate is amongst the cheapest.
