Not one promise in this campaign video has come to pass. He ended with "I don't switch positions or make promises that can't be kept!"

OK, he lied.
Politicians lie to get elected.
He IS a consummate politician.
A Chicago machine politician, to be sure, but he is VERY good at it.
I suppose there were some fools in the country who actually believed him.
I didn't, still don't, never will.
He lied then.
He is still lying, even though he can't run for re-election
Unless, of course, he gets the law changed.
I wouldn't put anything past him.

I feel bad for the people that voted for him. They are the ones suffering while he pays his donors back. Sad really.

Fifteen seconds in, and already a promise kept - namely, to wind down spending on Iraq. That's quite enough to prove the OP wrong.

Excuse me? You can't past his very first promise on that video without finding one he kept.
