It isn't the Tea Party that is killing the Republican Party. It is the Carl Rove's and the "Old Guard," of the Party, those that have long since left the roots which defined the Pary in the past.

But we are seeing the rising of a new breed, which are the hope of the future, not only of the Party, but the hope of America, and they are walking in the founders footsteps.

Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio lead the way, as others join in. They have effectively articulated the problems not only with the current administration, but with the "old guard" of our own party.

Karl Rove, sit down and shut up, PLEASE! Thank you Donald Trump, for putting this man in his place. John McCain, will you please just go away?

The first glimmer of hope was Rand Paul's nearly thirteen hour filibuster, in which he demanded answers from the administration. He showed Republicans how it's done, and provided a "template" for how we should operate in the future.

Let's hope this energy continues.

Donald Trump... the hero!

Rand Paul fillibustered, that's all!

Fillibustering is done on the Hill all of the time. All Senator Paul did was do it the old-fashioned way like in the old movie starring Jimmy Stewart.

"Life imitating art" is not a great foundation to build hope on.

Along with the GOP civil war that continues to paralyze it into irrelevance.

And now we have Sarah Palin boasting at CPAC that Alaska's energy resources belong to the people, not to corporations or conglomerates.

Sure sounds like socialism to me.

I could only listen to about 5 minutes of that thing, she seems to have learned to use the teleprompter though!

She must have been momentarily possessed by the ghost of Hugo Chavez.

Sarah was great. I loved how she said Todd bought her a "boob job" for Christmas this year and said Barack Obama was a "liar" directly into the camera.

I liked the part where she said when she and Todd are making love she sometimes closes her eyes and imagines that he is Kobe Bryant....attributed to Bill Maher!

Meanwhile anything that energizes the left you'll no doubt hail as a great sign for the country. Yeah, we get it. You want to keep the Democrats on top by downplaying anything the right does.

Did she really? Now that's classy. Imagine if some Democratic woman had said that a national conference... the cons would be shrieking about it for WEEKS.
