Dr Ben Carson is certainly entitled to his opinion. But based on that opinion, I'd never take my kid to him for any kind of treatment.
That's sad really. Have we really come to that? I hear this from people on both sides of the aisle, but it makes me mad. Why would you not give your kid the best possible treatment simply because you disagree with the doctor's politics? From what I understand, Dr. Carson is a brilliant pediatric neurosurgeon who has successfully separated conjoined twins.
I really hate it when people can't just understand that others may have a differing opinion about things than them. There are so many who won't even be friends with people of a different political persuasion. My dad and I had completely different opinions on politics, but we loved debating it and neither one of us got mad at the other.
I'll tell you a little secret -- most doctors are conservative. They have money, don't like lawsuits, and are fearful of what Obamacare is going to do to their practice. I guess you could go to one of those holistic healers though.
I'm not scared of him at all, just find his monotone to be very boring. As far as West goes he doesn't scare me either, I find he is the poster child for the typical right wing nutjob, he is laughable.

Last month, we wrote about some of the more ridiculous subsidies that Hollywood studios get these days, in which approximately $1.5 billion in taxpayer money goes straight to Hollywood studios in the US (and even more internationally).
The original tax incentive applied to productions costing less than $15 million to make ($20 million in low-income areas). The 2008 extension applies to all films, up to a deduction of $15 million (or $20 million in low-income areas). The incentive is especially generous to television series; it applies to each TV episode.
Jimmy Fallon will not move to CA (I wonder why) so New York state gives film and television studios a tax break worth 30 percent of qualified spending the state. The state sets aside $420 million a year for the program. Cuomo has asked legislators to expand the credits for five more years at that amount.
Oh here we go. Dr Carson, a black conservative who is a world renowned pediatric neurosurgeon, smart, very successful and African American. As Allen West said, there is nothing on this green earth that scares a Liberal progressive more than a black American who wants a better life and a smaller government. They were saying to get ready for the liberals to go after him and try to rip him apart. When asked what he thinks about Obama, Dr Carson said "I think he is a very talented politician".

It looks like Carson has figured out he can make some good money fleecing people as part of the conservative movement. Good for him. He noticed an opening and is gonna cash in.
