It's great to see another one of these GOP crooks thrown in the can where they belong

"The former chairman of the Florida Republican Party was sentenced on Wednesday for stealing $125,000 in party funds, according to the StarTribune. Circuit Judge Marc Lubet sentenced Jim Greer to 18 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to five charges.
“I feel that this crime deserves prison,” Lubet told Greer. “You egregiously violated a position of trust.”
Greer was arrested in 2010 and charged with one count of organized scheme to defraud, four counts of felony grand theft and one count of money laundering. The organized fraud charge was dropped as part of his plea deal."

I guess I do not understand how anyone can wish bad just because they are so one sided. If he is guilty and obviously he is, I am glad he will spend time in jail, but not because he is a Rep or a Dem. I felt the same way when the dear governor of Il got the shaft. the fact he was a Dem had nothing to do with it, the fact he was a criminal did!!!!

The American political system GUARANTEES massive corruption.

Political corruption is as American as apple pie. It has been that way from the start and will remain that way until the MONEY is seperated from the politicians.

The Citizens united decision has made the problem a 1000 times worse than before and it was not good before.

No they don't but for some reason people always seem to feel they must fall back on stupid arguments. It's part of the reason we get politicians that do things like this. They know that if they can get enough people behind them that think arguments like this are valid the odds increase that they can get away with it.
