Thanks to the new breed of constitutional libertarians who were swept into the congress over the last few years, the old GOP is going to go bye, bye.

Social issues will no longer be at the center of their platform.

Constitutional issues will be.

The left barely understand the constitution, so we libertarian constitutionalists have a few decades of experience on them.

Live and let live, as long as you take full personal responsibility for your actions.

Thank God for Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Pat Toomey, Paul Ryan, who, among others are staying out of the fray of social issues.

It looks pretty good from here!

I think national politics should stay out of social issues. We talk about other world cultures yet we have so many mini cultures right here depending on what part of the country you're in.

What works for one, socially, doesn't work for all and that's where the states come into play.

I'd love to see a GOP that just stays out of social issues on the national level. Keep their focus on our dollars at work and that's it.

Karl Rove is figuratively dogmeat right about now.

The people you listed are radical right wing fascist teabaggers that are hell bent on destroying the nation.

I hope they do keep it up with their insanity, they will get their asses handed to them again in 2014

Taking a sharp left turn on social issues, actually does mean they are taking a left turn. For many conservatives, especially the Christian ones, a conservative stance on social issues is far more important than economic issues. If you want to call your self something other than a conservative, then you are free to do so. Republicans are desperate for votes and are now liberal on social issues, and it seems the loyalists are following suit.

If there were more Ted Cruz's and Rand Paul's in the congress 10 years ago, we would never have gone into Iraq....no matter how much the lefties supported it.

If there were more Ted Cruz's and Rand Paul's in the congress, gay marriage would not be an issue.

If there were more Ted Cruz's and Rand Paul's in the congress, the "war on drugs" would end.

Learn the meaning of words like fascist before throwing them around.

Definition of FASCISM

1
often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
2
: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control <early instances of army fascism and brutality

The highlighted section sounds a lot like obama.

Forget the "religious right".

The new GOP are forcing the old guard GOP toward liberty.

Rove is in his death throws.

I have no idea of what you're alluding to with this statement.

Limbaugh is the mouthpiece for the GOP.
Oh, wait, you're not a republican. Am I correct?
