Obviously, these two choices are what is traditionally seen as right and left taken to extremes. Of course, it isn't so cut and dry. I decided to be fair and throw in Nazi Germany with the right-wing, even though it's National Socialism.

Considering what has been happening with China (among the other mentioned societies) today with some kind of emerging middle class coming from the labor sectors of society I'd have to go with them. I might have a very slight chance of survival. At least the government won't just throw you to the fires if they don't like your face. Either way freedoms and life threatening issues are still major concerns.
