This Republican Governor promised to create 250,000 new jobs in WI. He gave enormous tax breaks to companies and broke unions in attempt to create these jobs. However, he is just another Republican whose ideas and strategies are outdated and destructive.

The new federal data show Wisconsin behind other Midwestern states in private sector job growth in the 12 months ending September 2012. Wisconsin's 0.9 percent growth trailed Indiana's 2.2 percent, Michigan's 2 percent, Ohio's 1.5 percent, Illinois' 1.4 percent, Iowa's 1.3 percent and Minnesota's 1 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

No one is running away from Walker faster than Walker.

The 250,000 jobs promise was the biggest campaign promise Walker made, and it will be the standard he is held to throughout the election. Now that he knows his promise is unattainable, he is running away from it

The 250,000 jobs promise will be the biggest challenge Walker needs to overcome in the 2014 gubernatorial election, and the first step he has decided to take is to downplay its significance rather than take responsibility for his failure to keep his promises.
Who cares. My home state of Michigan was doing terrible for years with that do nothing Jennifer Granholm. She made promises too, just like every politician does to get elected. That's what they do. Make promises, many of which they cannot keep. Life just kept getting worse and worse with her at the helm. I left Michigan before republican Rick Snyder was elected. Most of my friends that stayed didn't have much good to say afterwards.
More often than not, the problems that effect local and state level economies are long standing, and they run deep, far deeper than whose steering the ship at the moment. I don't know what the problem is in Wisconsin, but I do know it's never been a great place to earn a buck. A lot of guys who I have worked with here came from Wisconsin. They came for one reason... Better wages/benefits/salaries. Sure, there were unions in Wisconsin, but unless you were one of the lucky ones to belong, they didn't do you much good.

Apparently 43 other states didn't have this problem.
Have you checked the job outlook in the other 43 states?
They do have this problem. The problem is trying to overcome Obama's economic plans that destroy jobs.
