I notice that with a few Christians, if you indicate that you are not (particularly if you were baptized as an infant but later chose to leave the religion), there seems to be a real sense of acrimony. I had one person tell me "well F you. you're going to hell". I think this is what drives this "war on easter"/"war on christmas" sentiment among some of the more hardliners. Again, I just think there a few Christians who just don't like the fact that others chose not to be Christian.
The liberal attack on Christianity continues. Hopefully later this morning as millions upon millions of Americans head to church for Easter, Google will do the right thing and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on their doodle.
March 31 marks the birthday of National Farm Workers Association (later United Farm Workers) co-founder Cesar Chavez. Chavez, who was trained by Saul Alinsky in the tactics of community organizing, has become a cult figure in California due to his organization of agricultural workers. March 31 also happens to be another important date this year: Easter. So, naturally, Google’s current logo features a graphic of Chavez’s face, rather than anything having to do with Easter.
I just googled something and noticed this! That's terrible. I guess we know who Google bows down to.

When I was actively practicing other religions, I only recall one person telling me I'm going to hell and that's my husband. I don't think people say that very often IRL, it's mostly on message boards.
Easter is a fertility celebration - hence the bunnies and eggs. The ancients were more forward with their fertility symbols of penises, pregnant women. and bulls.

Who does Google bow down to? I'm stupid so you have to explain in detail to me.
Also, WHY would you or anyone else expect a company you do business with to plaster images of your particular religion all over itself? Again, please explain in detail becasue obviously my brain isn't up to par.
It's Cesar Chavez day as well, someone we all know and everyone understands actually lived and did what people say he did, so it's kind of a big deal. Given that Google does not express religiousity of any sort and has nothing to do with your personal faith and that not every company in the world is putting crosses or jesus on their website today I really need you to EXPLAIN YOURSELF. And tell us if Bunnies would have pacified you then explain that too.
EXPLAIN WHY YOU NEED EVERYONE TO ACKNOWLEDGE YOU. I have to know so I can decide if you all are just really insecure or actually need therapy.
