Oh for cryin' out loud! Yes that is terrorism! There was a malicious attempt to maim, kill and harm others! Unfortunately it was on a larger scale! Either way, regardless of the magnitude, any attempt to maliciously maim, hurt or kill others can be construed as terrorism.

"As much" is just your opinion and all the same it's an acknowledgement that it does threaten or impact society.

Random acts of violence compared to acts of terrorism are two different things. For those involved or connected to the said acts of random violence that's not much of a condolence, but there are big differences.
Many instances of inner city crimes are not random. They are thought out and planned.

But screaming "Allahu Akbar" and killing soldiers is just "work place violence," right?

The Obama administration seems to have its own labeling system for terrorism.

Saying bad things about the koran is a terrorist act according to this admin.

Hence, I would consider that terrorism. As would be a mafia hit, a drive by... or hmmm....? flying a couple of planes into buildings?!

conservatives are wrong about everything all the time. Yet they never learn anything. If you think actual murders from white supremacists will mean anything to conservatives and cause them to reconsider their collective incorrect freak out over that DHS report, then you don't know conservatives.

They learn nothing. In fact, despite reality conservatives will become even more convinced they were correct in their assessment of that DHS report.

I never said it didn't. Organized terrorist acts do have a greater impact on society than random or not random crimes. That's just reality. You can argue the point all you want, that doesn't change the fact.

Mafia or organized crime is a form of terrorism. A guy knocking over a seven eleven, not terrorism.
