Meanwhile, in Georgia a symbolic law was passed to mandate gun ownership however there is obviously no penalty to not own one. It was a gesture to the criminal element that they promote and advocate armed citizens protecting themselves, property and fellow citizens in conjunction with the LEO...
clearly an example of sticking to bedrock beliefs despite adversity, emotion and pressure.
Government mandate on what is advertised as a right -> Sticking to bedrock beliefs.
God forbid we should "burden" anyone to try to prevent this from happening again. You sick people don't even hear yourselves anymore.
How will this work and how will it stop something like this from happening?
—Bans people who voluntarily commit themselves to a hospital from getting gun permits or eligibility certificates within six months of their release;
Whereas your reaction to Newtown would be to do nothing. That would make you feel warm and comfy. Twenty children are slaughtered, and your response---do nothing.
Why don't we drop the interstate speed limit back to 55mph? That would save probably hundreds if not thousands each year.

Ban dogs. There you go, dozens of kids killed each year by dogs.

Look at the link I posted earlier - school shootings have been happening for 249 years. Murder has been "illegal" in one form or another for centuries and it still happens.
I hear myself just fine. If this wasn't the 2nd Amendment I'd still be against it. I am pro Constitution and will not budge no matter what the cost.
