The latest news is that the White House has decided to imposed mandatory 1year service for Foreign Service personnel and Diplomats at the new Baghdad Embassy. This as a result of not having enough employees volunteering to work at the New Baghdad Embassy. So, it's either go to Baghdad and risk being killed or resign from Government service. Is this a raw deal or what?

They are not volunteering to be a part of this historic opportunity to witness the blossoming of libertt and freedom in the Middle East? Haven't they heard the "surge" is working? What is the matter with these people, are they patriots or mice??

Tough question.

Will I be required to torture people?. Because I'm a little squeamish when it comes to touching other mens testicles while I connect the electrodes during renditions. I'd also need to negotiate a clothing stipend because blood & brain matter stains are super hard to get out and I can't afford constant wardrobe changes. And I'm not raping any preteenage girls and setting them on fire to cover it up unless I get some standard-issue condoms first.

Oh, and I want a personal guarantee that 4 years from now when Bush is gone and the International Tribunal for War Crimes comes looking for me
...I get a pass.
