Got anything to dispute the contention that the trend toward increased productivity due to automation significantly predates Jan. 20, 2009?
So now your claiming that significant automation didnt start until after Obama became President?

Next you'll be telling me that you think those self checkout machines were invented as a result of a black man entering the White House.

Uh, no. I'm reminding everyone that the trend toward automation and increased productivity predates Obama -- contrary to those who are so keen to blame everything that negatively affects the job market on him and him alone.

And with automation usually comes higher paid tech jobs, despite the lower wages we are currently seeing.

Dont you think we should have considred the cost of automation prior to increasing the minimum wage, and demanding people be paid more than their labor was worth, or is it just irony that all of this happened at the very same time, while Democrats were claiming the economy was strong enough to support higher wages?

Thats not true.. You dont get to climb the public sector employees, and then celebrate a small drop that was simply offset by public sector employees at a different level of government

Yikes
By violence, do you mean simply charging a fee? Sensationalism makes arguments weak.

Yes, damn you President Obama for forcing companies to increase productivity by automating their processes! The gubmint should ban computers, then everyone would have a job.

I never thought bookkeepers, typists, bank tellers and data entry employees had good middle-class jobs, considering the wages they typically earn.
