Kerry Mourns 'Selfless, Idealistic' US Diplomat - ABC News

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Sunday railed against the "cowardly" terrorists responsible for the attack that killed five Americans in Afghanistan, including a "selfless, idealistic" young diplomat on a mission to donate books to students.

Very sad, Obama's foreign policy in action.

So you're blaming the death on Obama?

You should be ashamed of yourself.

The ME is a cesspool that we should never have set foot in.

What about the other five Americans and the Afghan doctor, don't they count?

Mourns was not appointed by Obama nor did she report to Obama. She is one of roughly 15,000 employees who work at the US Foreign Office who was assigned to work in Afghanistan. She was part of the nation building program, the same program our solders are in.

"She was on a mission to donate books to students in the south of the country."

It's a bit of a stretch to compare someone employed by the US Foreign Service to a US Ambassador.

You might want to put the blame on Kerry since he is the Secretary of State.

I'm no fan of Obama, but you are way off base and sound truly desperate to point the finger at Obama.

May ALL 7 of those who lost their life RIP.

Would you like to volunteer for the mission ? And after we "nuke the place into glass" how many angry Middle easterners do you think would be banging down the door to kill us ? Let us not forget such a simple and incredibly stupid idea would do a lot of harm to the world as the M.E. has about 85 - 90% of the worlds oil supply. What would you say if someone said lets nuke dales hometown and turn it into glass ?

For some reason we're to busy trying to make their lives like Americans......strange a hunt for one man turns into total chaos, more torn/divided countries and now nation building. By the time we're done the ME will resemble America.

Once again a rightwinger starts a thread, reacting with glee at the loss of another American diplomat while Pres. Obama is in office.

Very sad indeed.
