Your poutrage is so, so, expected.
Oh for ford's sake, how histrionic do you have to get because people point out how ignorant your guy is about the United States.
It may have happened years ago but it is still funny - plus its kinda funny to hear an Obama supporter complaining about pointing out past gaffes when Obama spent the entirety of his first term blaming Bush for everything.
Intelligent, thinking, self-aware people will not let that happen. Those who are inclined will always try to deflect away from the issues and put people on the defensive by accusing them of racism.
It is a tool that was used pretty effectively for a while, but it is a tool that is now so over-used that the accusation is close to being meaningless. People know what is in their heart and in their mind. Racist pigs know that they're racist pigs (and they don't care). Those who genuinely (non-partisen-ly) care about issues, care about the ecomony, care about the direction that the country is headed must have the strength to stand up for what they believe in regardless of all the useless, time-wasting, agenda-driven white noise that gets tossed around.
I hate that so many have watered down the interpretation of racism and use it as a tool. There is real racism out there - hurtful, destructive racism, and its deliberate misuse of the word does a disservice to those who face the real thing. IMO.

Give me a break - such dishonesty is truly hilarious.
Bush was ridiculed, blamed and crucified for everything wrong with not just the United States, but the world in Obama's first term.
The Loser in Chief didn't change tactics coming into his second term either, he just switched to the Republicans in general because even he started to get it that people weren't buying the it's all the other guys fault line anymore.

And rightfully so. While the witless right-wingers were going on and on (and on and on) about the 57 states, the country was shedding hundreds of thousands of jobs a month thanks to their miserable failure of a president. Want a laugh? Check Bush's job creation totals for the eight years he was in office. You'll find a minus next to the number.
Now Dane, just because you felt deeply abused by facts as an ignorant child is no reason to project this on to others . . .
(I'm just sayin')
Ooooh, the "I'm rubber, you're glue" comeback. I am devastated. But seeing that you feel the need to stick up for the somewhat inappropriately named poster, perhaps you can present evidence that "Obama has made this same "mistake" on more than one occassion (sic). "? Up for it?
How anyone can defend this idiot so-called "President" is hard to imagine.
He is the President. Period. Not so-called, nor any need for quotation marks. He won two elections with the majority of votes.
President Barack Hussein Obama.
Say it with me:
President.
Barack.
Hussein.
Obama.
You may disagree with him, you may not like him, you probably didn't vote for him. Be he is still President of the United States. He is your President, and will be President until the next elected President takes office. That's how democracy works. If you have any questions about that, please refer to your copy of the U.S. Constitution.
Thank you.
