The point is that you come out in the strongest terms possible when the vote is an attack on the Constitution.

I don't think things have changed. Reid is still not bringing the assault weapon ban or mag ban up for a vote. The only thing I see them moving on now is the background checks.

I understand that't the way Rand Paul works, just didn't know there were 14 others including Mitch McConnell. He was alone on Benghazi but this speaks large for the republican senate, doesn't bode well for 2014. The AWB in 1994 didn't see anyting close to this,no challenge over 10 years, why now?
