I went to see Hedrick Smith today; a keynote address. The place was PACKED, overflowing, and it was an amazing, intelligent discourse on the corporate powers and their attack on American democracy.

Hedrick Smith** Timeline: Who Stole The American Dream

Yep, one vote at a time. They don't even realize they voted it away. They don't want to do what it takes to achieve it so they want to take it away from others too. All in the name of fairness.

American Dream seems pretty healthy too me: most of my colleagues, acquaintances and I enjoy decent jobs, places to live, enough things to do, and are generally happy. Not really sure what else I want right now...maybe better weather?
