It was just a matter of time until the truth came out. As others have said, pretty much anything to do with Corn and Jones is going to be dubious.

What was amusing was watching libbies spew and foam, knowing their words would come back to bite them.

Sure 'nuf! You'd think they'd learn. This story/thread is a prime example of why I continually refer to the space between their ears as being empty.

I know one liberal who wears an earplug in his right ear all the time.

He says it has become mandatory in windy weather,....the whistling sound when the wind blew through became a distraction and was extremely irritating.

I can't understand why Progress Kentucky waited so long to produce the recording. Apparently, they saw that McConnell told the truth about Judd and her ignorant comments and saw no positive upside until after she decided not to run. Just another smear campaign by left-wing nutjobs.

Using Judd's own words against her would have been her demise anyway, but the McConnell campaign didn't have to do anything after she withdrew from being a possible candidate. I see no foul against Judd.
Karl Rove paid those two... Now, how about the content of the tape?

This is going to be an interesting one, because you can't go around taping conversations where there's an expectation of privacy. That said, higher courts have made decisions on cases where people have taped conversations that they could hear clearly through walls, and the court said there was no right to privacy if you were that loud. The other issue is that using your congressional office and your staff (unless it's clearly documented that they did it on their own time) to conduct campaign research or to hold campaign meetings, which happened, is also a big no no and you can go to prison for it.

It's just January 2013, but in the race to oust Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) after nearly three decades in the Senate, one small super PAC is already exploring all options. Progress Kentucky, launched in December, was born out of discussions among Democratic activist Shawn Reilly, who now heads the super PAC, and his friends as they debated how to defeat McConnell in 2014.

For months, the Democratic Super PAC Progress Kentucky has made McConnell’s defeat its sole priority. They’ve held multiple protests—like this political Christmas caroling—against McConnell at his home and offices in Louisville, Lexington and London, Ky.

This is hilarious and on par for Progressives.

This was a planning session in February when Judd was planning to run against McConnell. The comments were making ridiculing Judd's own remarks. How is using Judd's own words against her a crime?

The content isn't nice, but there's nothing illegal about it. My guess is that they were trying to prove that McConnell was using legislative staff on federal work time, and federal resources like his office for campaign activities.

Campaign fodder ... Most in Ky don't care much for Jowls already.. How did these guys get into the room? Apparently, McConnell thinks they disguised themselves as bugs. Elevator bugs.
