Only about 1000 late term abortions are performed in the US per year. Almost all of those were because of severe abnormalities where the fetus would not have lived anyway.
100% of fetuses also require safety, love, and attention. So why are there hundreds of thousands of unwanted children in the foster care system? Shouldn't we worry about the living, breathing, and HURTING children we can't take care of now? Every year, thousands of children age out of the system into poverty, homelessness, and crime that they are unlikely to escape due to their lack of structure, coping skills, or support system.
